Job description
• Deep understanding of mining-specific spare parts, OEM (Original
Equipment Manufacturer) equipment
• Manage of all day-to-day Mine Stores and inventory control.
• Track, trace, and report on all deliveries through to debriefing with a
clean point of delivery (POD)
• Responsible for receipt, record, and storage of all incoming stock.
• Responsible for flagging of any major stock variance.
• Ensuring service delivery from customers is in accordance with service
level agreements (SLA’S) and within the agreed budget level.
• Ensuring safety and security procedures according to standards set
within the Health & Safety Policy Manuals.
• Implement and execute an inventory replenishment system ensuring
proper levels of stock.
• Procure to Pay Management.
• Liaise with managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Providing reports as required and service delivery measurements.
• Provide leadership to the team and ensure skills development.

• Maintaining SLA’S.
• Expediting – Maintaining relationships with customers.
• Perform and train personnel on cycle counts in accordance with the cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.
Minimum requirements
• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• A Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
• A Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
Experience
• 5-10 years’ experience within similar role.
• Extensive mining / mining equipment experience
• Experience within an ERP system such as Sage Pastel Evolution Experience
• Experience in report writing and presentation
• Comfortable in using MS Office, particularly excel.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong Communication skills and experience in liaising with stakeholders.
• Strong operational and business understanding.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, with a flexible attitude to working hours.
• A hands-on mentality with very good negotiating skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to competently follow procedures and carry out organizational and logistic operations.
