Job description
Conduct pre-use, scheduled, and statutory inspections.
Check braking systems, steering, tires, lights, warning devices, fire extinguishers, seat belts, and emergency systems.
Identify defects and ensure defective equipment is removed from service until repaired.
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 (or equivalent).
2 years’ experience in mining industry and expose to mechanical
Relevant engineering, mechanical, diesel mechanic, or mining-related qualification.
Advantageous TMM training and competency certificates.
Mine-specific induction and legal training. (Requirements vary by mine.)
