KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManagement of the TMM underground fleet.
· Ensure equipment availability
· Ensure maintenance work is executed according to engineering standards and schedules.
· Provide technical support to artisans, supervisors, and planners.
· Develop and implement maintenance strategies for TMM fleets (LHDs, dump trucks, utility vehicles, drills, graders, etc.).
· Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
· Monitor equipment performance, analyse breakdown trends and implement root cause corrective actions
· Analyse equipment performance and drive reliability improvements
· Ensure all TMM equipment complies with Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and company standards
· Risk Management of contracts
· Quality control of products/equipment supplied to sites
· Setting standards and project planning
· Provide technical expertise to production teams
· Motivating, coaching, and developing subordinates
· Optimise fleet utilization and fuel efficiency
· Support commissioning of new equipment and technology upgrades
Minimum requirements
- Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

- Ability to work in a multinational / multicultural environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE)
Qualifications
· - BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
· - DMR Government Certificate of Competency to practice as an engineer (GCC) (mechanical or electrical)
· - Registered or registrable with ECSA (Professional Engineer / Technologist – advantageous)
- - Management Development Programme required or equivalent – advantageous
Experience
· Minimum 5 years’ post GCC experience in an underground mine with TMM
· Extensive understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems
