†  Receive instructions from the Foreman / Supervisor

†   Marking and measuring the drilling area for drilling and blasting purposes

†  Covering the drill holes to ensure that they do not get blocked

†  Ensure that the drill machine is clean

†  Ensure that the coolers are clean before every shift

†  Ensure that the track frames are clean before every shift

†  Help with removal and fitment of pipe roping

†  Grease the drill machine at the start of every shift

†  Grease the rod threads every time rods are changed

†  Report any damages to the drill machine

†  Communicate with personnel effectively in order that instructions are carried out properly

†  Perform any reasonable tasks assigned to him/her by the Foreman / Supervisor

†  Carry out an inspection daily in his/her section

†  Report near misses and other potential hazards

†  Clean up hydrocarbon spills

†  Ensure that protective devices are in good condition
