Introduction
The Road Haul Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Road Haul/Logistics department. This role ensures accurate documentation, monitoring, and reporting of road haul operations, supporting efficient material evacuation from the open pit.
Job description

  • Collect weighbridge tickets and maintain accurate records.

  • Take photographs of offloading operations for documentation purposes.

  • Track and report errors from BOP operations.

  • Verify all loads daily using weighbridge slips.

  • Reconcile daily dispatch vs. received at BOP, document broken seals, and report NCRs to transporters.

  • Compile weekly operational and reconciliation reports.

  • Reconcile inbound loads with received deliveries and report missing trucks.

  • Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in road haul operations and obtain approval for offloading where necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and company procedures.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.

  • Certificate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Administration, or related field (advantageous).

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transport, or road haul administration (mining experience advantageous).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and data capturing systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and reporting skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
