Monitor and optimise metallurgical processes to achieve throughput, recovery, and quality targets.
Conduct daily plant sampling, test work, and metallurgical accounting.
Analyse plant performance trends and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process challenges.
Prepare and submit technical reports, metallurgical balances, and performance reviews.
Participate in projects aimed at plant improvements, cost reduction, and innovation.
Ensure compliance with company standards, SHEQ requirements, and statutory obligations.
Provide technical guidance to Process Controllers and Operators.
Minimum requirements
BSc / BEng / BTech in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years’ experience in metallurgical/processing operations (beneficiation, smelting, or mining).
Strong knowledge of mineral processing and metallurgical test work.
Computer literacy with advanced Excel and process simulation tools (advantageous).
Familiarity with metallurgical accounting principles.
Willingness to work in a plant-based environment with rotational shifts if required.
